Visit the Glass House: Pure Glass House Tour

1-hour guided tour | $30 per person

The Pure Glass House tour visits only Philip Johnson’s iconic Glass House (1949).  Visitors will spend time inside the Glass House and outside on the promontory overlooking Johnson’s 47-acre curated landscape.  Visitors will be transported by van directly to and from the entrance to the Glass House with minimal walking.  Please note this tour will NOT visit the other buildings on the site.

New for Fall! The Pure Glass House Tour

Pure Glass House Tours are new, created in response to visitor request and to offer the opportunity to view the Glass House and surrounding landscape as it transitions from late summer through fall. The tour option is ideal for those visitors who are interested in learning about the Glass House but have limited time, mobility or prefer not to participate in the 3/4 mile walk over uneven terrain required to visit the additional structures on the site. Visits to these surrounding structures (Painting Gallery; Sculpture Gallery; Da Monsta; Library/Study) are featured on many of our other Glass House Tours.

Pure Glass House Tour

1-hour guided tour | $30 per person
10:00am Wednesdays in September, October, November

The Pure Glass House tour is a shortened tour that visits ONLY Philip Johnson’s iconic Glass House (1949). Visitors will spend time inside the Glass House and outside on the promontory overlooking Johnson’s 47-acre curated landscape.
