“He curated a profession in America for a century.”
- Gregg Pasquarelli on Philip Johnson’s influence on American Architecture
On September 22, 2011, Gregg Pasquarelli of SHoP Architects and architecture critic Philip Nobel lead our Conversations in Context program at the Philip Johnson Glass House. The group toured the landscape and discussions ranged from the contemporary work of SHoP Architects – including the in-process East River Waterfront Project in New York – to Philip Johnson’s legacy as an architect and curator, and his lasting influence on American culture.
